Simply Adam Mann (@adam_mann) is a local designer living in uptown Phoenix and was one of CO+HOOTS’ two ninterns this fall.

His focus is simple: to provide clean, functional, quality designs while supporting local business and developing lasting relationships.  Below are a few posters he has done for local organizations and businesses around town.

:: Jude Landry ::

Jude Landry is a designer currently living in Starkvill, Miss. where he enjoys teaching, designing, printing and spending time with his wife Alisha and two daughters.

His main design interests include poster design, screenprinting, illustration, information design and typography.

:: Scott Campbell ::

Scott Campbell is a graphic designer, illustrator, print maker and currently working and living in New Orleans. One of my favorite works of his was created for the New Orleans Issue of GOOD Magazine back in 2010. Scott created a beautiful series of illustrations highlighting Brad Pitt’s “Make It Right” program (you can read the article here).

“Is the ‘Make It Right’ program’s high-design, low-income green housing project what the Lower 9th Ward needs?”

Two Paperdolls is a letterpress and design house located in Wayne, Pa. that has some truly beautiful work. They provide everything from wedding invitations to business cards and website designs for all of your custom printing, letterpress and design needs.

:: Foundry Co ::

Foundry Co is a creative branding agency and the collaborative effort of Paul Wilkes and Scott Hill. Rooted in the art of creating beautiful things and founded in 2009, Foundry Collective blends strong senses of style in both modern and vintage aspects, applying a fresh approach to projects across the globe. In short, it is Foundry’s mission to provide beautiful, engaging aesthetics paired with relevant messages. While the agency found its beginnings in Oklahoma City, Scott currently resides in Denver and Paul in Dallas. You can read more about the agency here.

:: Jon Ashcroft ::

Jon Ashcroft is a creative director/illustrator/Rable-Rouser living and working in Phoenix. His specialties include editorial illustration, non-profit/small business branding, publication design and making things look cool. Jon has developed a very unique style of texture work making his pieces easily recognizable. His use of color is exceptional as well.

:: Adam Hill ::

Adam Hill, aka Velcro Suit, is a great designer and illustrator with an exceptional eye for color, subtle textures and custom typography.

Between his site and his flickr, there is quite a lot of great work on display.

:: Javier Garcia ::

Born and raised in México, Javier studied graphic and industrial design at I.T.E.S.O. before coming to the U.S. to pursue his career. After earning his B.F.A. in graphic design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco in 2005, Javier joined Nimbus Design, where he brings his personal blend of cultural influences and industrial design background to a variety of identity, print and web design projects.

:: Studio 8 ::

Studio 8 is an independent graphic design studio with a reputation for delivering intelligent and engaging creative solutions. Set up in 2005, they produce a diverse range of work across multiple disciplines that includes editorial, exhibition, signage, corporate literature, websites and brand identities.

This particular project is a typeface designed for Wired. Used throughout the magazine and Wired’s iPad app for chapter headers, the typeface can be colored in numerous ways in order to suit the page it sits on.

:: Two Arms Inc ::

Michael Tabie and Karen Goheen are Two Arms, an illustration and design team best known for their gritty, silk-screened rock posters. With over six years of experience in both small and large agencies, Tabie and Goheen’s diverse portfolio showcases projects from high-end fragrance packaging, brand development campaigns, independent album design to custom lettering and illustration.
