Monday was the first day Brandon graced our company with his presence. He is talented, smart, and Chinese. Perfect, right?
He will be working on and helping out with design projects for much of the summer. His first assignment is expanding our “live forever” campaign. Now, let’s get to know more about Brandon “I think he voted for Oba” Mah:
Why do you like design? I design because it is a way for me to express my feelings into a graphic representation. I get excitement from showing people my work and hearing positive feedback.
What is your design background? I’ve studied architecture in my first year of college and then changed to visual communication design after I realized architecture wasn’t for me. This coming fall I am going into my fourth year of visual communication design.
If you were a tree, what kind would you be? And why? I would have to say a palm tree just because they are very sturdy and can withstand any weather conditions.
We all should be green because: It makes for a better life.
Clean air? Or clean water? Clean water for sure.
Ginger? Or Mary Anne? I don’t get it. Ginger?
I have never: beaten Tetris
In five years, I will be: Done with school and hopefully teaching for a few years. I also want to open up design firm. But we’ll see how that goes.
Childhood ambition: I always wanted to be a basketball player. But I soon realized I wasn’t tall enough and I lacked the skills needed to play.
Nickname: Bmah
(Oh, THAT’s his nickname)
My Jedi name would be: I’m not a star wars person (BLASPHEMY! But a REAL Jedi wouldn’t flaunt his existence. Niiiiccceee. I see what he did there.) so I have no idea. If I had to choose, it would just be mah.
I find inspiration in: design blogs, other designers, nature
